Another big surprise the split brings along is the debut of the cumbia band LOS NUEVOS ILUSTRES DEL RUIDO. Inspired by a breakup seen from the perspective of an outsider, The band tries to create a melancholic atmosphere that is counteracted somehow with the danceable rhythm of cumbia, thus achieving a somewhat unusual but still efficient mix.
